Your enquiry & your privacy

Privacy notice · version 3 · 9 September 2026

What we collect and why

No1 Junk Street uses your phone number, collection postcode and photographs to assess this collection, respond to you and keep a record of the enquiry. We do not ask you to create an account or provide an email address. The form does not enrol you in marketing.

Who processes your information

The application is hosted through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare Workers, a D1 database and private R2 photo storage. Authorised office staff can view the enquiry. When photo analysis is connected, the working copies of your photographs are sent to the OpenAI API. Your name, phone number, address and written notes are not sent for photo analysis. Working photographs have embedded metadata removed; personal information visible in a photograph can still be seen by the analysis service, so please avoid including people, documents or other unnecessary details.

Office notifications are sent through Make.com and the office’s connected GREEN-API WhatsApp service. They contain your phone number, postcode, estimate, item summary and photographs so the office can respond to your enquiry. Photo download links expire within one hour. Copies sent to WhatsApp and records held by these services are separate from the app’s photo storage. We contact you by phone about this enquiry; submitting this form does not opt you into WhatsApp marketing.

Storage and deletion

Photographs are scheduled for deletion no earlier than 3 days after your enquiry is created. Office staff may extend that period while a collection is being reviewed, or delete the images manually at your request. If processing or the scheduled cleanup service is interrupted, deletion may be delayed. Abandoned uploads are scheduled for deletion after one hour. Deleting images leaves the enquiry and estimate record.

Contact details for closed enquiries are scheduled for removal after 90 days. This is an initial operational retention period, not a statutory requirement. Active enquiries are kept for office review. Service providers may apply separate security, backup or API retention policies under their own terms; the app does not promise immediate erasure of provider backups.

Your choices and requests

For access, corrections or deletion, contact No1 Junk Street at sales@no1junkstreet.co.uk or 07311 01 01 01 and quote your enquiry reference. Requests are reviewed by the office.

Essential browser session

We use an essential, secure session cookie to connect your uploaded photos to your enquiry and let you view its result for up to seven days. We do not store contact details in browser local storage. This application does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
